NSW man charged over firearms, assaults

A man is facing charges over a series of indecent assaults and firearms offences at Lake Macquarie.

Two women were assaulted at a home in Windale in April and May.

A search warrant was executed at the property on Thursday and police say they found two firearms.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at a different address in the same street, and has been charged with several offences, including indecent assault and possessing weapons with intent to commit indictable offence.

He was refused bail to appear at Belmont Local Court on Friday.
