EMERGENCY PATIENTS TREATED ON TIME AT NSW PUBLIC HOSPITALS IN APRIL-JUNE 2017

* Westmead: 39.9 per cent (compared with 54.1 over the same period last year)

* Blacktown: 46.2 per cent (59.8 per cent last year)

* Fairfield: 66.7 per cent (79.8 per cent last year)

* Auburn: 56.8 per cent (67 per cent last year)

THE APRIL-JUNE QUARTER 2017

* 663,942 patients presented to a NSW public hospital emergency department, an increase of 4.2 per cent compared to the same quarter last year.

* The number of patients who had treatment started within clinically recommended time frames decreased to 75.6 per cent.

* The number of patients who were able to leave emergency departments within four hours decreased to 73.1 per cent.

* Patients receiving elective surgical procedures on time remained at 97 per cent.

* 63.7 per cent of ambulances met emergency patients within 15 minutes of triple zero calls and 95 per cent arrived within 30 minutes.
