Search for alleged killer after man fatally stabbed on the NSW Central Coast
A search is underway for an alleged killer after a man was fatally stabbed on the New South Wales Central Coast overnight.
Emergency services were called to Karalta Road, Erina, after reports that a man had been stabbed about 8.50pm last night.
Police found a 42-year-old man suffering a single stab wound to his chest outside a unit complex.

He was treated by paramedics however could not be revived and died at the scene.

Officers said the 42-year-old victim was known to police.
Neighbours told 9News they heard arguing and yelling leading up to the incident.
"A lot of swearing then it went quiet," Pamela Watson, a neighbour, said.

Police are appealing for any information about the incident. 9News
Acting Superintendent Paul Nicholls said the stabbing is "concerning".
"We certainly take these matters seriously and we'll throw all available resources into the investigation to establish what occurred and identify anyone responsible," he said.
"We will pursue this investigation until the person responsible is brought to justice."
