Man charged with murder after another man fatally assaulted at NSW train station
A man has been charged with murder after another man was allegedly fatally assaulted on a train station platform in the New South Wales Hunter region.
Police were called to Beresfield Train Station, near Newcastle, just before 6pm on Monday where they found a 39-year-old man suffering extensive injuries on the platform.
The 39-year-old died at the platform.

Another man was later charged with murder. 9News
Officers arrested a 27-year-old man a short time later and he was taken to Raymond Terrace Police Station.
He was later charged with murder.
The 27-year-old has been refused bail and will face court today.
