NSW child dies after caught in blind cord

A toddler has died in Sydney's north-west after becoming tangled in a blind cord which wrapped around her neck.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were called to a home in Hornsby at 2.30pm (AEDT) on Thursday.
The child, 16-months-old, was in cardiac arrest when emergency services arrived and she died at the scene.
