'Above and beyond': NSW Ambulance paramedics' kind act for palliative care patient

As Evelyne lays tucked under a blanket, her arms at her side, a moment of clarity washes over her.
NSW Ambulance Paramedics say it was during a special stop at the Three Sisters in Katoomba between transport for treatment when the palliative care patient experienced the heart-warming moment.
"We wheeled her down and as she was looking around she had this moment of clarity and said she remembered coming there a long time ago with her husband," paramedic Judy told The Western Weekender.

"She had this beautiful glow and look of happiness on her face so I took a photo to send to her daughter Kim, who said the family was overwhelmed that we would take the time to do that."
Evelyne's treatment requires transport between hospitals with NSW Ambulance.
