Rugby league players Zane Musgrove and Liam Coleman have been acquitted of indecently assaulting a woman at a hotel in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Former South Sydney prop Musgrove and ex-Penrith reserve grade player Coleman appealed after being convicted over the incident in October last year.

Footage of the incident appears to show Zane Musgrove forcefully kissing the woman. 9News

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had accused Musgrove of pulling her close and repeatedly kissed her aggressively and Coleman of putting his hand on her breasts at the Coogee Bay Hotel in November 2018.

Coleman, who is the son of Souths legend Craig Coleman, broke down outside court, describing the last 16 months as "hell".
