Tourist missing from Northern Territory outback camping spot
Northern Territory Police are appealing for help to solve the disappearance of a Queensland tourist from a popular outback camping spot.
Alex Rosenberg vanished from Edith Falls, 40 kilometres north of Katherine, nearly two months ago.
The 67-year-old was last seen walking back from Sweetwater pool along the Leliyn Track on the morning of August 19.
His caravan and vehicle were found undisturbed at the campsite.
Extensive land and water searches through the extremely rugged and unforgiving country failed to turn up any trace of the camper.
Mr Rosenberg was dressed in a khaki shirt and hat, black shorts and hiking boots, and was believed to be carrying a walking pole and Samsung phone.
Anyone who finds stray items of this description around Edith Falls should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
