The footwear-themed saga of NOFX frontman Fat Mike's Australian tour continues after the punk rocker copped a shoe in the face at a show in Perth on the weekend.

Fat Mike, aka Mike Burkett, was ready to beat up a fan in the crowd who threw a bottle at his face while standing only a few metres from the stage.

The singer took off his bass and was ready to jump off stage into the mosh and beat the man up when he was held back by a roadie, The Music reports.

"Somebody f---ing kick him in the f---ing head. I can't do it because I'll f---ing make TMZ again," Fat Mike said in reference to an incident at a Sydney show when he kicked stage-crashing fan Alex Medak in the head.

"I'll sell the footage to TMZ myself," quipped guitarist Aaron "El Hefe" Abeyta.

The punk rocker made his way back to the mic when a shoe flew out of the crowd and smashed him square in face.

"I was having the best f---ing time tonight of the whole tour. This was my favourite f---ing show and you have to throw a f---ing bottle at my face, or whatever the f--- hit me," he yelled.

NOFX are yet play the final legs of their tour in Victoria and Queensland.
