No safe seats anymore: Frydenberg warns

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has warned his Liberal colleagues that normally safe seats can no longer be taken for granted.

"In today's political environment, there is a greater number than ever before of uncommitted voters and that means that there is no such thing as a safe seat any more, not even on 12.8 per cent," Mr Frydenberg told The Age.

Mr Frydenberg, who holds the seat of Kooyong in Melbourne, is among a raft of Liberals in blue-ribbon seats facing stiff competition from high-profile challengers at the May 18 election.
