No jab, no pay measures in parliament

Parents who fail to immunise their children won't get childcare benefits under legislation introduced to federal parliament.

Only those with a valid medical reason will be exempt from the $500 million budget-saving crackdown on anti-vaxxers.

Social Services Minister Scott Morrison said parents should be confident their children won't be put at risk of life-threatening illnesses because of "conscientious objectors".
