Woman pulled from the water at Victorian beach

A woman is in a serious condition after being pulled from the water at Dromana, Victoria.
Emergency services were called to the beach near Point Nepean Road after reports of a swimmer in trouble about 3.15pm.

The woman, aged in her 40s, was rescued.
She has been flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The incident follows a drowning south of Brighton Beach in Melbourne yesterday.
