Victorian jury convicts Meth Mean over cold-case Melbourne murder
A Perth man has been found guilty over a cold case Melbourne murder more than 30 years ago.
Meth Mean was charged with murdering 27-year-old Springvale woman Ranny Yun in 1987 and was extradited to Victoria after being arrested at the end of 2017.

She was discovered dead in her sewing room, naked from the waist down, with severe head injuries and wounds to her throat and chin.
Ms Yun had fled war-torn Cambodia and was home alone on the night she was killed.
She knew Mean through her husband, and was at a Malaysian refugee camp with him before they flew to Australia on the same plane, the jury was told previously.

Semen found on the dead woman's body matched that of Mean.
He was extradited from Perth after covertly obtained DNA evidence linked him to the death of Ms Yun.
A Supreme Court jury today found Mean guilty of murder.
He will be sentenced by Justice Jane Dixon at a later date.
