Teen driver charged after 14-year-old dies in crash

A 17-year-old young man has been charged over a fatal crash in which a 14-year-old boy died.
The two-vehicle crash took place at The Esplanade, Thornleigh, in Sydney's north, in late November last year.
A 14-year-old boy, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, died at the scene.

The two male drivers, aged 17 and 50, underwent mandatory testing in hospital.
The 17-year-old was yesterday charged with dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death.
He was granted bail and will return to court in June.
