Five English and Scottish men have been banned from Kings Cross after a mass brawl in the Sydney CBD.

NSW Police this morning said a group of men were involved in a physical altercation on the corner of Darlinghurst and Bayswater Roads at Potts Point about 1.20am.

A 32-year-old man involved in the scuffle was allegedly punched in the head and collapsed unconscious before he was kicked while on the ground.
