Heart-stopping moment Sydney service station attendant is held up at gunpoint
An armed thief has made off with a bag of cash after robbing a Sydney service station in a gunpoint robbery caught on CCTV.
Police said the suspect was carrying a double-barrelled gun and wearing a balaclava as he ordered a petrol station attendant to hand over the money at 4.20 this morning.
The worker was alone in the Bonnyrigg Metro Petrol Station at the time.

The daring robbery comes just nine days after another incident at the same outlet where a staff member was also held up at gunpoint.
That man has since resigned from his job.
Security cameras captured both incidents.

Fairfield Police are investigating whether the robberies are linked.
The suspect from this morning’s incident has been described as 164 centimetres tall and of chubby build.

He fled the scene with another man.
Police said the pair were traveling in a car with a “noisy exhaust”.
