Abandoned car found in search for woman missing since April 1
There has been a breakthrough in the ongoing search for missing Perth woman Mary Nix.
Ms Nix, 69, was reported missing by a neighbour who noticed the dogs at her Lockridge property had been unattended for a number of days.

Very late yesterday afternoon, searchers discovered Ms Nix's car, a burnt orange Chrysler PT Cruiser, abandoned near Bindoon, north of Perth.
Police are now scouring the nearby bushland, with mounted officers, quad bikes and even detectives joining the search.
Farmers in the area have been asked to check their sheds and properties.
Ms Nix is described as being fair-skinned, of a medium build, with red hair and blue eyes.
Security footage from the post office Ms Nix was last seen at show she was wearing a multi-coloured three-quarter-sleeve top.
