Sydney man charged over alleged importation of $34 million of cocaine
A man has been charged over the alleged importation of $34 million worth of cocaine from South Africa.
Earlier this month, a NSW Police and Australian Border Force joint operation examined a consignment which had arrived in Sydney from South Africa.
When deconstructed, it was found to contain 68kg of cocaine, which has an estimated street value of $34 million.

Strike Force Warranbool was formed with detectives from the NSWPF Organised Crime Squad and ABF investigators to investigate the import.
With assistance from the Australian Federal Police, extensive enquiries led to a 45-year-old South African National arrested and charged yesterday.
Following the arrest, investigators executed three search warrants in Campbelltown, where they seized items relevant to the investigation.
The man was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today
