Police hunt man after sexual assault in Dandenong

Police want to talk to four people who intervened in a sexual assault in Melbourne’s east.

Investigators believe the male victim met three unknown men near the intersection of Clow Street and Princes Highway, Dandenong on 12 April.

The victim returned to an unknown address with the men before leaving the property alone, he was followed by one of the men who grabbed him and sexually assaulted him in a secluded alcove on Robinson Street in Dandenong just after 2am on April 13.

The offender is described as having a dark complexion, aged in his mid-30s, short hair with a heavy accent and was wearing jeans, a zip up jumper with white stripes on the arms and a black T-shirt.

Investigators are also keen to speak to four people who walked past and intervened in the assault causing the offender to flee on foot.

Police have released images and CCTV of a man and four witnesses that may be able to assist with their investigation.
