Man arrested over spate of sexual assaults

Police have arrested a man following three sexual assaults on separate women in Melbourne.

The alleged incidents took place on Howard and Church streets in Richmond and Grosvenor Street in Abbotsford in the early hours of Sunday 14 April.

A 21-year-old Richmond man presented himself to a police station this morning in relation to the incident.

He has been arrested and is currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Police released an image on Friday of a man they wanted to speak to over the escalating incidents they described as "predatory."
