Knife-point robbery in Footscray

A man has been robbed at knifepoint in Melbourne’s west overnight

The 20-year-old Williamstown man was walking along Warleigh Road in Footscray about 11.15pm.

He was approached by a man who produced a knife. The victim handed over his mobile phone before the offender fled on foot.

The investigation is ongoing.
