Exclusive: Teen girls attack Melbourne chicken shop worker
An innocent Melbourne chicken shop worker has been attacked by two teenage school girls during a foiled robbery.
The 23-year-old staffer was carrying the day’s takings of about $5000 when she was set upon by the teens at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre in Narre Warren earlier this month.

“She was punched to the back of the head and thrown to the ground,” Detective Senior Constable Jordan Mackenzie from Victoria Police told 9News.
While still on the floor, the woman was repeatedly punched and kicked by the young offenders, Det. Snr Const. Mackenzie said.
During the sickening ordeal, the victim fell on a glass vase on display at a nearby florist.
Witness Masood Raza said he saw the 23-year-old trying to shield herself from the teens.

“I saw her holding onto (a) bag, she couldn’t protect herself because she was holding the money,” Mr Raza said.
The victim later required 13 stitches to her leg.
The teens fled empty handed, and were last seen running towards a bus stop.
Police have described the pair as Pacific Islander or Maori in appearance, and aged between 14 and 18.
One teen was wearing white Adidas sneakers, while the other was wearing ripped jeans, white sneakers, and a white sweatband on her arm.
