Man detained after allegedly threatening Muslims in Facebook post

A man has been detained by police after he allegedly posted a threatening comment on Facebook. EPA/AAP
An Adelaide man has been detained by police after he allegedly posted a threatening comment on Facebook, directed at people of Islamic faith.
The post also shows a man holding what police says appears to be a replica firearm.

After the post was drawn to the attention of police, officers visited the man's western suburbs home and detained him.
He is currently in hospital being mentally assessed and it is not clear what, if any, charges he will face.
