New projects but no new money: Albanese

Labor has questioned where the money for three new infrastructure projects is coming from when the Turnbull government's mid-year budget review indicates there is not a single extra dollar of funding.
In Tuesday's mid-year economic and fiscal outlook, the government said it was providing $999 million for the construction of the northern connector in Adelaide, the Armadale Road duplication in Perth and stage two of the Gold Coast Light Rail.
"They are all new projects that have been announced since the May budget, the problem is the MYEFO statement says there is no additional money," opposition infrastructure spokesman Anthony Albanese told Sky News on Wednesday.
