New national plan to tackle heart issues

The Heart Foundation will instigate a plan to improve awareness, diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions and stroke.
The organisation will use a federal government grant of $170,000 to create the strategy, working alongside the National Stroke Foundation.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in Australia.
