New competition law changes introduced

The federal government has announced a raft of changes to competition and consumer laws.
Treasurer Scott Morrison on Thursday introduced a package of reforms designed to better deal with anti-competitive conduct for the benefit of Australian businesses and consumers.
"Together, the reforms contained in this bill will strengthen, simplify and modernise our competition laws," he told parliament.
