New chief for Tourism Australia

Fox Sports chief executive John O'Sullivan has been chosen to lead Australia's tourism industry.

He'll replace Andrew McEvoy as managing director of Tourism Australia (TA) from late March.

Mr O'Sullivan has held executive positions with Events Queensland and Football Federation Australia, and is a member of the Tourism Transport Forum Advisory Board.

TA chairman Geoff Dixon says Mr O'Sullivan is a respected businessman who has managed large firms and has a wealth of experience in the tourism and events industry.
