Neighbors pay tribute to Perth baby allegedly slain by father

The family of a Brookdale baby girl, allegedly killed by her father, has thanked the community for its support.

Neighbours paid tribute to Isabella Martin, laying candles by the front door of their Chiltern Avenue home in Perth’s south-east and leaving teddies and flowers by her family’s letterbox last night.

Home video shows a happy and playful six-month-old Isabella giggling and smiling as she jumps around in her bouncer.

Photos of the infant show her sitting up in her high chair, smiling and holding on to her toys. This is how her family want their little girl to be remembered – happy and loved.

Her father, 35-year-old Arron Colin Martin, has since been charged in relation to the death, after reportedly walking into an Armadale police station about 8pm Thursday to raise concerns about his daughter.

Police rushed to Mr Martin’s home where they found Isabella suffering critical internal injuries.

She was rushed to hospital but tragically couldn't be saved.

None of Isabella’s relatives felt up to speaking on camera today, but they told 9NEWS they wanted “to thank everyone for their support and well wishes".
