Intense storms continue for Queensland, NSW and Western Australia

Troughs are generating intense showers and storms in northern Western Australia, central Australia, western Queensland and northern NSW.

The wet weather comes after two days of storms in parts of NSW and Queensland with conditions expected to intensify over the next 48 hours.

Moist onshore winds are causing showers in eastern NSW.

A high is keeping Victoria, Tasmania and elsewhere in WA and NSW dry and settled.
