Man stabbed while on morning walk in Melbourne's south-east
A 70-year-old man was stabbed while out for an early morning walk in Melbourne.
The man was with a woman aged 57 on a walking track in Narre Warren in the city's south-east, when he was allegedly approached and stabbed
A man approached the pair and slashed the man with a "sharp-edged weapon" before fleeing on foot, Victoria Police, said.

He suffered arm injuries and was taken to Dandenong Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The woman was not injured.

Police are investigating the incident.
