An Alabama mother has celebrated her children’s return to school by leaping into the air as part of an annual back-to-school photo shoot.
The silly snaps were posted to Scottsboro resident Keshia Leeann Gardner’s Facebook page late last week, where they have since been shared hundreds of thousands of times.
They show Ms Gardner, open-mouthed, suspended in the air, arms raised in jubilation, while her five children stand by watching.
Some of the younger children appear to be laughing, while others looking unamused at their mother’s antics, one boy covering his face in embarrassment.
“Happy first day of school, kids. I'm gonna miss y'all,” the caption reads.
Ms Gardner said that while she and her husband have been taking the photos every year, this is the first one to go viral, local broadcaster FOX 13 reports.
