Multi-million dollar SA hospital revamp

A private Adelaide hospital will add two new operating theatres in a proposed $45 million expansion.

St Andrew's Hospital has submitted a plan to the government's Development Assessment Commission, which includes new wards, a three-level carpark and staff gym.

Chief executive Stephen Walker says the expansion will be self-funded and says the hospital has consulted with residents, the Adelaide City Council, Heritage SA and the state's Design Review Panel.
