MP concerned about Palestinian children

A Labor MP is calling on the federal government to speak up about the treatment of Palestinian children by Israel.
Maria Vamvakinou, moving a motion in parliament on Monday, noted that up to 700 minors were arrested, detained and prosecuted in the Israeli military court system every year.
Australia had addressed the issue with Israel in 2011 and 2014, but there had been little improvement since, she said.
