Motorcyclist dies in Melbourne crash

A motorcyclist has died after his bike collided with a ute in Melbourne.

The man appears to have lost control of his motorcycle late yesterday evening in Croydon Hills in the city’s north-east before crashing into the ute, police say.

The ute's 42-year-old driver and his passengers, a 41-year-old woman, a 12-year-old girl and a nine-year-old girl, were not injured.
