Motorcyclist attacked at Canberra intersection

A motorcyclist has been repeatedly punched while stopped at busy intersection in broad daylight.

The brazen attack was recorded on a dash camera at a Canberra intersection and posted to Facebook this morning.

It showed an L-plate rider stopped on the white line when a passenger in the car behind him gets out.

The man walks past other stationary vehicles and over to the rider.

After what appears to be a brief conversation the male passenger begins hitting the driver in his helmet and kicking his foot.

The passenger appears visibly happy following the attack and runs back to the car.

The motorcyclist’s safety gear and helmet appear to stop the brunt of the attack which leaves him looking bewildered.
