Mother and daughter missing from their Melbourne home

A mother and six-year-old daughter are missing from their Wollert home.

Deo Tran, 34, was last seen at her Subiaco Road house on Friday evening.

She does not have money or a phone with her and family members and police are concerned for her welfare and that of her daughter, Mandy Nguyen.

Police are appealing for public help in tracking down the pair.

The mother and daughter are of Asian appearance.

Tran, who is of thin build and about 158cm tall, was last seen wearing black pants with white dots on them and a light coloured jacket.

Her daughter is about 110cm tall, thin build, long black hair and was wearing orange pants and a cream leather jacket.

Anyone who sees either of them has been urged by police to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
