Most students studying at training colleges never finish their courses, new research shows.
A National Centre for Vocational Education Research report on Friday says those who started studying in the early years of the VET FEE-HELP scheme, between 2009 and 2012, only have a 21 per cent chance of completing their training.
Jobless students studying an advanced diploma externally only had an eight per cent chance of finishing.
