Morrison pledges to find billions for NDIS

The federal government will have to find an extra $5.6 billion in the budget to keep funding the national disability insurance scheme.

But Treasurer Scott Morrison insists the landmark scheme will be delivered by the coalition.

"We will find it and we will support but we're the government that has to deliver it, not just promise it," he told ABC radio on Friday, taking a swipe at what he said was Labor's "fairytale" about the scheme being fully funded.
