More Fiji flights for Aussie travellers
AAP
More Australian travellers will be able to head to to Fiji after the federal government announced an increase in flights between the two countries.
Transport minister Darren Chester said the "long sought-after" arrangement of an almost 10 per cent increase in passenger capacity and a doubling of air freight capacity would boost a $4.2 billion tourism and trade relationship.
"This is a great outcome for both countries and we will continue to work with the Fiji government to ensure the air services arrangements continue to meet the needs of all stakeholders," the minister said on Monday.
