Molotov wake-up call for Melbourne man

A man has awoken to molotov cocktails being thrown at his Melbourne home.

Police say the culprit was seen to ride off on a motorcycle.

The early morning incident caused minor damage to the home, on High St in Yarraville.

"Around 5am (AEST) this morning ... a male occupant of the house was awoken to two molotov cocktails thrown at the premises," a Victoria Police spokesperson said on Thursday.

There were four people home in the home at the time. No one was injured.
