WA man charged with Rocha murder

Major crime squad detectives have charged a man with the murder of missing Perth woman Helena Rocha.

The 42-year-old will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Police said on Tuesday afternoon they believed they'd found the remains of 40-year-old Ms Rocha, last seen at her Willagee home on September 26, 2013.

They said they had been conducting investigations at a Parmelia residence in connection with her suspected murder when they made the discovery.
