The search for a missing West Australian prospector has resumed this morning after police located his abandoned vehicle.
Ronald Potter, who owns the white Ford Courier, found bogged yesterday afternoon 15kms out of the town Coolgardie, has been missing since November 6.
Both family and police hold serious concerns for the 86-year-old’s safety, and SES personnel will be assisting with ground searches this morning.
The search will focus on the area near where the vehicle was located.
Mounted officers and horses are expected to arrive to assist with searches this afternoon.
Mr Potter is approximately 165cm tall, Caucasian, of slim build, with short grey hair and a white moustache and beard.
