Schoolboy safe after going missing from Sydney classroom

A nine-year-old schoolboy has been found after going missing from his Sydney classroom just before lunchtime today.
The boy was last seen at a school on Ridge Street, North Sydney about 11.20am today.
Police were told he left a classroom and had not been seen since.

Officers from North Shore Police Area Command were called in with an investigation underway.
The child was located safe and well walking along Miller Street in North Sydney, police said in a statement this evening.
Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance.
