Missing grandfather found safe two days after getting lost

A Perth grandfather has been found safe in bushland more than 40 hours after going missing.
Francisco Rebelo, 88, suffers from dementia and went missing from his home in East Fremantle on Tuesday.

After a desperate search by the SES and police, a passer-by located Mr Rebelo sheltering in scrub just 600 metres from his residence this morning.
The 88-year-old was visibly distressed, but did not suffer any injuries.
He is now recovering in hospital.
