Teenage boy and girl who vanished from NSW school found

NSW Police have found a girl and boy who went missing after leaving school.

The 13-year-olds were last seen about 12pm on Monday outside a school on Cawley Close at Alstonville, in the state's Northern Rivers region.

An appeal to help find them was made by police after the pair were reported missing.

The two were located in Casino and reunited with their families about 6pm on Wednesday, NSW Police said.

"Both are safe and well. Police thank the media and the public for their assistance."
