Missing Guildford boy found safe and well after 'serious concerns'

A young boy reported missing from Sydney's west has been located safe after "serious concerns" for his welfare.

The 10-year-old disappeared from a Guildford address, near Parramatta, about 2.20pm yesterday.

Police were contacted with a spokesperson confirming to 9News a land and air search teams were helping with the operation to locate him.

He was found a short time later safe and well.

Police thank the public for their assistance.
