Multiple people trapped after minibus and car collide in Piara Waters

Emergency crews are at the scene of a major crash in Perth’s south after a minibus and a car collided in Piara Waters.

The crash happened just before 5.30pm at the intersection of Warton Road and Armadale Road.

9NEWS understands at least two people were trapped inside the wreckage of the car and crews are still working to free another person trapped in the bus.

A man and a woman were treated by paramedics but have since been taken to hospital.

One of the injured is believed to be the driver of the car.

Armadale Road has been closed between Warton Road and Taylor Road in both directions.
