Million dollar boot

Police in Victoria who pulled over a woman on the Hume Freeway found nearly a $1 million in cash in the driver’s car.

The vehicle was driven by a 35-year-old woman when she was stopped by police at about 8:30pm on Tuesday.

Police proceeded to search the car and came across two large sport bags in the boot which contained $920,000 in cash, the Border Mail reports.

The woman was charged with possessing the proceeds of crime and was remanded to appear at Wodonga Magistrates' Court today.
