Milky water 'safe to drink', Queensland council tells worried locals
Logan City Council has reassured residents the milky water coming out of their taps is safe to drink, but some locals are still concerned.
Residents, especially in the suburb of Eagleby, are getting water that's milky white or filled with bubbles when they turn on their taps.
The council has said the water meets all necessary health standards.

The milkiness is the result of some routine works in the area, which have created air bubbles in the water main.
Nonetheless, some residents have complained of irritated skin and rashes after drinking the water.
The council has said the water is being tested every day, and that supply to the area has not changed.
