Investigators make steady progress in MH17 crash site search

Australian investigators have made steady progress at the MH17 crash site, where search is completed in two of the six priority areas.

The search team, made up of over 100 officers and investigators, have managed to search 6 sq. km. over a six-hour period.

The first plane carrying human remains recovered from this international mission is set to take off from Kharkiv tonight, destined for the Netherlands.

It’s been a deadly day of fighting, with nine people losing their lives as a result of this conflict in Eastern Ukraine.

The latest news from the convoy on the ground is that they have been unable to resume their search of the crash site due to nearby shelling.
